Amazing Amp June 12, 2010
Reviewer: Shane Heieck from Pembroke, ON Canada
This amp does everything you could possibly want it to do. Crystal clear to dirty as @#$%. Take the time to dial this amp in, it took me awhile. But once you do, it'll NEVER need to be adjusted (except for volume). Tons of great features, padded input, 9-band graphic EQ, effects loop, DI out, Speakon out, to name a few. I use this for practicing, recording, and gigs. Never let me down. I run it through a BBE Sonic Maximizer and an Ampeg 410HLF. I play against a very loud drummer and two guitar players with 100W Marshall Stacks, NO problem. The key is to dial in the gain just on the verge of clipping and use the graphic EQ level as your main volume (at full it'll double your volume), as the master on mine is almost cranked. Great rig. The ONLY reason I would buy an upgrade is to get more power (2-PRO or an SVT-CL). But unless you are playing stadiums, there is no need.
