Sometimes, the dulcet tone of a nylon strung acoustic guitar can't be beaten. The Fender CN-240SCE Thinline nylon electro acoustic allows you to amplify classical guitar style nylon strung acoustic tones. The thinline version of the CN240 has a much shallower body than the original CN-240SCE offering great comfort for players who are used to standing up, and for beginners where concentrating on your playing technique is essential.

Fender's new CN-240SCE Thinline has many of the same great specs and features as its predecessor, the CN-240SCE, but with a thinner body (2.5"-deep upper bout; 2.75"-deep lower bout), which makes it a perfect crossover instrument for electric players and beginners looking for a great classical guitar.

The CN-240 SCE is an interesting instrument - a hybrid nylon-string that actually isn't a classical guitar, strictly speaking, because it has a soft cutaway and a slightly thinner neck profile that's easier on the fretting hand. Other features include a solid cedar top, rosewood back and sides and built-in electronics.
