This Mapex 5-Piece Standard-Sized Drum Set is appointed with 6-ply, 100% maple shells that produce full-bodied, rich, low tones. Some of the main appointments include the Mapex I.T.S. drum Mounting system, with minimal drum contact for better tone, and tom holders with an extra cymbal arm position. This Mapex drum set also features a full set of double-braced stands and a solid kick drum pedal with a Tri-Tonal Beater.

The drum shells feature Mapex's I.T.S. Mounting System, reinforcement of their commitment to less is more. The Mapex drum mount is compact while continuing to enhance overall drum response with less shell contact. With this Mapex mount you are able to change drumheads with the tom still mounted to the tom holder.

The included tom holders are light with little bulk, to offer a sleek look and a light overall load. The corner-friendly double tom mounts have a third middle position for a cymbal arm (not included), to make for fewer tripod stands on the floor. The stands feature form-fitting memory locks, designed to fit the bottom contour of the mounting bracket for quick and easy setup night after night and no slipping.
