The Bogner Alchemist Head amp puts its 6L6 valve power section to work for you, providing great valve amp tones ranging from crystalline to white-hot sustaining. Each of the Gogner Alchemist head amp's two channels features Gain, Treble, Mid, Bass, and Volume controls, plus more. You can swtich the power section from a gigging 40-watts to a studio-friendly 20-watts. The Bogner Alchemist head amp provides onboard reverbs and delays to add dimension and texture to the great sounds conjured by the Alchemist Head. Bogner includes a 4-button footswitch with the Alchemist 40-watt valve amp head.

Though Reinhold Bogner began designing and building amplifiers long before leaving Germany for the California in 1989, his career really took off soon after arriving in Los Angeles. He modified and built custom guitar amps for guitarists like Steve Stevens, Dan Huff, Allan Holdsworth, Mike Landau and Steve Vai. Eddie Van Halen entrusted Reinhold to overhaul and revitalize his number one Marshall Plexi, with great results. Soon after, Bogner Amplification was born, and the rest, they say, is history.
