The Epiphone Les Paul Custom is based upon the Gibson which bares the same name and is a great guitar for intermediate and professional guitarists. The body of the Epiphone Les Paul Custom is made of Mahogany and Alder and comes in an Alpine White or Ebony finish. The multi-ply binding goes around the top and bottom of the body as well as the neck's fretboard and headstock. The neck is set into the body for excellent tone and sustain.

The 24.75" scale length neck is made of mahogany with block inlays. It has 22 frets and a rosewood fretboard that is bound with a single-ply binding, as is the headstock. The Epiphone Les Paul Custom has two humbucker pickups; an Alnico Classic HB at the neck (rhythm) position and a Alnico Hot HB in the Bridge (Lead) position. The two volume and two tone controls are in the standard configuration: a volume and tone control for each pickup. The 3-way pickup selector allows switching between the Bridge, Bridge+Neck, and Neck pickups.
